PMS is a combination of physical and emotional disturbances that occur after a woman ovulates and ends with the onset of menstruation. If you're not certain if you or your loved one has PMS, these are the symptoms:
Blend 3 to 6 drops Clary Sage with 1 to 2 drops Rose Otto and 3 to 5 drops of lavender and add to a tub full of warm bathwater.
You can use this "bathing" method every day, until the onset of menses. After, or instead of the bathing method, you should use remedy #2.
In a small amber glass bottle (to protect remedy from light), add the following ingredients:
2 TB base oil -- either Almond, Grapeseed (for oily skin), or Apricot Kernel Put the cap on the bottle and gently mix the ingredients, by swirling the bottle. To use, gently massage into your abdominal area. ![]() Petrissage is like gently kneading dough. Each movement should be slow and careful, never causing pain. Use slight pressure on your thumbs, in this movement. The picture to the left shows the petrissage technique on the back, notice how the thumbs are used to knead the flesh, but there is no good reason you can't perform petrissage on your own abdominal area.
In Conclusion
Medical science has yet to discover the "exact" cause of PMS, but at least there is something you can do to ease your symptoms.... Naturally.
